We’re pleased to announce the completion of a significant step in our planned expansion of internationally recognised certifications, having recently achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 20000-1:2011, ISO 27001:2013 and PCI DSS accreditation.
With so much choice in managed services, accreditations help customers navigate the market, removing uncertainty and providing confidence in their selected IT service provider. The expansion in ISO and PCI accreditation demonstrates our commitment to the highest possible standards for every customer, across all services selected.
CORETX has achieved the latest version of ISO's flagship quality management systems standard, ISO 9001:2015. This enables organisations to prove to customers that they offer products and services of consistently good quality. The accreditation is awarded for our entire company, including our lifecycle services and Bournemouth data centre facility.
We’ve also been awarded the IT service management standard ISO 20000-1:2011, which shows we’re capable of meeting customers’ unique requirements as a managed services provider. The latest version of this standard defines how an organisation controls its service provision in terms of design, transition, delivery and improvement of services that provide value for the customer.
With ever increasing threats to data and IT Security, we’re keen to show we operate to the highest security standards. To this end, the company has been awarded with ISO 27001:2013, the international standard that describes best practice for an information security management system. This tells customers that the environment in which we host their systems and store their data is secure.
Finally, with the growth in our customer base using ecommerce, we’ve enhanced the security of their offerings by becoming PCI DSS compliant, the Payment Card Industry data security standard set up to help businesses process card payments securely and reduce card fraud. With PCI DSS accreditation achieved for our data centre and cloud services, CORETX enables clients who process payments online to reduce the level of insurance they need to take out across their PCI network.
“Independent assessment of CORETX services by respected international organisations, such as ISO and PCI, further validates customer confidence in our capabilities,” said Tim Medclaf, Customer Service Director, CORETX. “Driven by the need to include recently merged parts of our business, certification now covers all of our services. This sets us apart from competitors. Customers know that whatever we provide them, they’ll receive a high quality service and exceptional levels of security.”
Looking to the future, we are working towards a number of additional accreditations, including those related to business continuity and environmental standards to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.
