CORETX WANPort solution

CORETX's WANPort is an end to end Quality of Service enabled solution. With the emergence of VoIP and our own IP Centrex solution, QoS has been further enhanced and additional technologies integrated into the WANPort solution to ensure the highest level of service is maintained throughout.

The core of our WANPort solution is built on MPLS technology with N+1 redundancy. An uncontended backbone connecting each our POP's ensures the core maintains its high performing switching functionality.

We can deliver a variety of access technologies to connect enterprise campus, branch, SOHO and mobile workers into the MPLS core using a choice of circuit providers whilst providing end to end Quality of Service (QoS).

VoIP ready WAN's

CORETX's MPLS core provides connectivity to our end-to-end managed solution, interconnecting with all products in the VoiceSuite and DataSuite portfolio.

We offer a variety of access technologies to connect enterprise campus, branch, SOHO and mobile worker into the MPLS core using a choice of circuit providers whilst providing end to end Quality of Service (QoS).

When designing the Wide Area Network, CORETX will establish the design requirements, tailoring each element to suit. We will always design with application availability, cost and usage in mind. Additional design considerations will include resilience, redundancy and disaster recovery scenarios and will be driven through the design discussion with the customer.

Access Technologies

Customers' sites can be connected into a CORETX Wide Area Network using a variety of different access technologies. Each technology has characteristics which determine its suitability within each tailored design. Access technologies include ISDN, DSL, EFM, TDM, Ethernet and Dark Fibre. CORETX can install secondary back up networks and maintain a highly resilient core network, including three separate key colocation facilities. This approach can be adopted to negate any single points of failure.

Customer Premises Equipment (CPE)

When designing your WAN, Selection will tailor each element to suit your needs and with application availability, cost and usage in mind. Additional design considerations will include resiliency, redundancy and disaster recovery scenarios and will be driven through the design discussion we have with your team.

CORETX is able to specify the right CPE based on requirements. Circuit termination, port density, technology and protocol support, processing, packet switching and forwarding rates are all technical considerations that are taken into account when selecting the right CPE to perform a particular function or group of functions, meeting your requirements.

Redundancy

The MPLS core spans across over 60 data centres providing multiple routing paths over physically separated hardware and links. Whilst older technologies require a permanent path to be configured between two end points, MPLS enables routing decisions to be made on a hop by hop basis, dynamically reacting to changes in network topology.

Network Agnostic

CORETX has relationships with multiple partners and suppliers to provide access circuits between our network core and customer sites within the UK and internationally. Independent of any one supplier, CORETX is in a prime position to offer circuits based on functionality, cost and availability.

Network Services Support

The full WANPort solution is supported and maintained by the Network Operations Centre (NOC). Using leading technology, the NOC is able to proactively respond and report on network faults with target rates of 90%. All of our engineers are fully trained and experienced with an array of vendor hardware and technology and can provide customers with knowledge as and when required.

Reliable, Secure and Scalable

CORETX's core network is built across a multi-vendor platform designed with N+1 redundancy. Each of our data centres is connected by multiple, diversely routed dark fibres, and connected with CWDM technology. Multiple Gigabit links ensure un-contended connectivity across the core is maintained. Upgrade to 10 GB links is part of the scalability built into the core design to support future growth and ensure that the un-contended access is preserved. The data centres are fully managed and serviced buildings with onsite engineers available 24/7.
